June 2025 - The Field with background of the meadow and hay turning

Pupils in Fourth Class walked to Annagh Bridge where they examined water samples to detect invertebrates and determine water quality. The pupils found stonefly, flattened mayfly and green caddisfly in the water samples examined . The Citizen Science Stream Index was used to assess water quality which was determined as good based on the presence of key invertebrate.
