Dear Parents, Guardians and Children
Welcome to Ahane N.S. Ahane N.S. is situated in a rural area; it is approximately five miles from Limerick city and two miles from the main Limerick/Dublin road. Over the last twenty five years Ahane NS has developed from being a three teacher three roomed building to the modern well equipped school it is today.
Ahane N.S. Board of Management in conjunction with the Department of Education and Skills oversees the growth and development of the school. The Board of Management welcomes the help and involvement of parents/guardians and works with Ahane NS Parents Association and with members of the community to encourage and support involvement in the school.
Ahane NS has a hugely active and supportive Parents Association. Our Parents Association provide support with a wide range of activities including sporting activities, classroom based activities and fundraising. The principle of partnership is reflected in the Board’s communication, consultation and sharing of information with the school community.
We welcome you and your child to our school. We look forward to working with you and to supporting you child during their primary education in Ahane N.S.
