Irish Coast Guard Helicopter Visit.

We were very fortunate to have a visit from the Irish Coast Guard Helicopter to Ahane National School. The helicopter landed in the field with all pupils able to view the landing from the back yard. The helicopter crew were introduced to the pupils and crew member Colm spoke to the pupils about the work of the Irish Coast Guard and also on water safety and the importance of being safety conscious near water. All pupils were given a tour of the helicoptor and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and pose for  photos.
